The Cartier Women’s Initiative Award is an annual business plan competition aimed at creative, financially sustainable and socially responsible women-led start-ups, in all countries and industries.
Selected among 15 finalists by an independent jury, the five Laureates, one per continent, each receive personalized business coaching for a full year, US$ 20,000 in funding, valuable networking opportunities as well as important media visibility.
HOW TO APPLY
The Application Form must be completed online before March 15, 2011.

A UNIQUE COMPETITION
The competition is designed to give all participants an opportunity to gain perspective and confidence by stimulating cross-cultural exchanges. All the finalists are invited to Paris for entrepreneurial workshops with INSEAD professors and to participate in the annual Women’s Forum, which gathers industry leaders from around the world.

Since the inception of the competition in 2006, the Cartier Award has supported 57 initial-phase entrepreneurs from all five continents of which 75% are still developing their companies. Read about past awardees.
