  The goal of the Rockton Chamber of Commerce Business Plan Contest is to encourage the development of effective business plans which will assist entrepreneurs with advancing, enhancing, or strengthening existing small businesses and matching emerging financial and/or technical needs with existing resources

  How to Apply:

  There are five required submissions for this competition, namely:

   

  • Business Idea Summary & Contest Registration
  • Market Analysis & Company Description Sections
  • Marketing / Sales Management
  • Product/Service Line Sections
  • Final Business Plan Section

  You are also required to attend one mentorship meeting. Two workshops are scheduled by the Rockton Chamber of Commerce, and several workshops are planned by the Small Business Development Center in Rockford.
