The Online Programming Contest at Shaastra is one of the most popular and fastest growing events. Playfully referred to as the event for "those who always thought a sentence should end with a semi-colon". The OPC boasts of more than 1,000 participants combating for their moment of fame, a remarkable achievement its inception having been just in 2006
It's an online event, teams of which should not exceed 3. Participants should register with an online judge before taking part. There will be one practice round before the actual contest, which is aimed at familiarizing the participants with the (online) judge and the interface, the performance in the practice round, of course ,not affecting final standings. The source code is the entry required to be submitted.
