We have been talking about, living in and working in the Øresund Region for a while now, the bridge opened almost 10 years ago and today a lot of people are travelling across the Øresund Bridge - working, shopping or similar in one country and living in the other. In fact – more and more people take the region for granted and don’t think much about how it develops. This is good in the sense that it has been incorporated in our daily lives – but bad in the sense that less focus might lead to missed opportunities and lack of development.

So we want to challenge this, we want to revitalize the development of a region that we want to be a fantastic place to both live and work in - and we want to secure continuous development! 

And for this we need your input – and your ideas!

THE CHALLENGE:

So what are your ideas to promote and develop the region even further? What is your best idea or suggestion for an event, campaign, meetings, workshop, new ways of communication, initiatives or similar that can utilize and create new possibilities for the region and make it an even better place to live in, work in and make business in?

What is it – according to you – that the Øresund Region is in need of to develop and how can we do this?

Or – if you don’t know the Øresund Region or are living in the region – what are the initiatives that can promote and “energize” a region and involve the people living and working there?

THE CHALLENGER:

PlanB is a consulting company working in the Oresund Region – with offices, partners, clients, friends, plans and ideas on both sides of the Bridge. We thrive in a region where borders have been minimized and where new business possibilities are happening – and we want to be an active player in the continuous development. So how can we – a medium-sized consulting company with many ambitions, the best intentions but also limited resources – contribute to this?

The ideas and comments will be presented and shared on PlanB’s client seminar on April 22^nd in Copenhagen – with the theme “Innovation”. Further more we will share the ideas and comments with various partners in the Øresund Region (incl. papers, newsletters etc.) so that dialogue and discussions can be created and new initiatives hopefully initiated.

THE CRITERIAS:

• The idea/suggestion must be possible to implement within a period of 6 months - from the first initiation/planning to full implementation. Ideas and suggestions with shorter timeframes are more than welcome.


• The idea/suggestion must involve (or include) both people living in the region and businesses present in the region.


• In case the idea/suggestion needs extensive funding - this has to be raised externally (but is nessecarily not a part of this assignment). However - no matter what - the budget should NOT exceed the limit of 1 mill. DKK


• The intention is that PlanB would like to either take the lead or participate in this initiative. So make it realistic, doable and affordable for a medium-sized organization like ours!
A reward is given to the contribution that we select - based on the criterias that the suggestion must be innovative, inspiring and possible to implement. The reward is not depending on whether the selected contribution is being implemented or not.
