Student Competitions Team aim for Winter Olympics 2014!
It is time to challenge ourselves! Student Competitions is considering putting together a team for the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi 2014. But in what sport? We have narrowed it down to three possible sports, now we want your input!
After summer vacation, the Student Competitions Team recognized that we have grown really fat over the summer, doing nothing but sleeping, competing with kids that are smaller than us and eating. So today, we announce that we are putting together a team to run for the Winter Olympic Games 2014. There is nothing like training for the Olympic Games to get back in shape!
How do you choose the sport which you will marry for the next couple of years? We have weighted the probability of getting killed and the probability of actually getting into the Olympic Squad, against the physical demands and the risk for public humiliation.
Since we live by the motto, Challenge Yourself - Challenge the World, we have to Challenge Ourselves to the max. So we count on getting a few cuts and bruises. We are in for some pain if we need to, in order to get there.
After careful consideration, we have decided to choose between the following three sports:

Bobsleigh - Bobsleigh is one of the most prestigious (and dangerous) sports in the Winter Olympics. You cuddle up in a sled and go in 200 km / h down an icy track. Ninja!

Ski jump - Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's an Olympic Ski Jumper. Ski jumping is not for the faint-hearted and definitely a challenge for anyone. Especially for those who are afraid of heights, which we all are. But what the heck, lets go.

Curling - Much more civilized, you do not need to wear a spandex suit and you compete on precision skills. Popular team sport, with high potential. Takes so much patience, it is a challenge just to watch.
Now, we would love to hear your opinion on what sport we should go for! Please write your opinion in the comment field below and motivate which sport we should choose! The best motivation wins a Student Competitons t-shirt!
