The St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award is one of the World’s largest essay competitions. Three winners got to share €20 000 and present at the 40th St. Gallen Symposium, which took place in Switzerland last week.

The St. Gallen Symposium is arguably one of the World’s most prestigious essay competitions. This year’s competition attracted more than one thousand contributions from 59 countries and 200 lucky students got to fly to Switzerland to participate in the 40th St. Gallen Symposium. The annual Symposium gathers students and leaders from the business- and academic world together to informally discuss a topic of importance. The topic of this year’s Symposium was “Entrepreneurs: Agents of change” and all the student’s essays were on that topic.

The happy winners were Ainur Begim, James Clear from Ohio State University and Cristoph Birkholtz, from University of St. Gallen.
