There is nothing that touches our hearts so deeply as receiving a wonderful piece of jewellery. A sentimental feeling develops that follows us throughout our lives. From the time we receive our first jewellery gift as a young child, we become enchanted and deeply attached to our jewellery.
This competition opens to all students of art schools, excluding those who are currently under employment in the jewellery sector. It seeks to develop the potential of young designers and to enable exchanges between students.
The most outstanding designs will be selected and made into jewellery to be marketed alongside with jewellery from leading jewellers. The ultimate validation of a successful design is market acceptance. Winners will have the satisfaction of knowing how many pieces are sold at the end of the year from the date of the competition.
