Earth Photo gives photographers and videographers around the world the chance to exhibit their work and win cash prizes.
Earth Photo is an international competition and exhibition created by Forestry England and the Royal Geographical Society.

Artists are encouraged to submit photographs and videos that tell stories about the natural world, its breath-taking beauty, and its ever-growing fragility.

The shortlisted photographers and videographers will show their work in the Earth Photo exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society in London (from 28 June to 30 August) and on a national tour to three Forestry England forests (from 28 June 2021 to 24 April 2022). They will also have the chance to win cash prizes in each of the categories.

As Earth Photo is highly-respected in the field of nature photography, shortlisted photographers also have the chance to see their work published each by news outlets such as the BBC, the Guardian, El Espectador, and magazines like Geographical, Vice, Digital Photographer, and National Geographic.

To take part in the 2021 edition of Earth Photo, photographers and videographers are encouraged to enter via a dedicated online portal:

They can submit up to 10 images and/or short films in the following categories: People, Place, Nature, Changing Forests and A Climate of Change.

The exhibition and awards will be selected by a judging panel made up of experts from the fields of photography, film, geography, and ecology, including distinguished curators, environmentalists, writers and artists, and chaired by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, Marissa Roth.
