The Funny Money Comedy Scholarship will award up to $500 towards a program focused on learning or developing comedy skills in a guided context. To enter, you must be between 13 and 19 years old as of December 31st, 2021 (the contest deadline).
Why a Comedy Scholarship? Comedy requires critical thinking, writing ability, interpersonal communication, adaptation, and a bunch of other good stuff we generally categorize as academic and professional 21st-century skills.

The Funny Money Comedy Scholarship will award up to $500 towards a program focused on learning or developing comedy skills in a guided context. To enter, you must be between 13 and 19 years old as of December 31st, 2021 (the contest deadline).

What kind of program? Pretty much any kind. Online, in-person, stand-up comedy, improv, comedy writing, comedic acting, comedic sculpture, and more! We don’t pretend to know everything out there, but we’re excited to find out!
