This innovative competition enables students to persuasively apply ethical reasoning to practical issues and the moral imperative of sustainable development. Teams choose their own business ethics case, which should relate to one of the 17 global UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that focus on a wide range of environmental, social and economic issues. There are 3 components: a 25-minute full presentation outlining a solution that is acceptable legally, financially, and ethically; a 10-minute presentation focused solely on the ethical component; and 90-second presentation (elevator pitch) explaining the importance of the sustainability issue. a
