About the competition
The Architecture Portfolio Challenge 2026, the second edition of the competition by Architerrax, invites architecture students and emerging designers worldwide to submit a portfolio that communicates design thinking, process, technical ability and personal identity.
Deliverables: select your best three design projects and compile them into one landscape 16:9 PDF of up to 20 pages. Only the design projects are judged.
Jury: Jesper Bork (3XN), Saman Dadgostar (Zaha Hadid Architects), Matt Turlock (SOM), Eman Shafiq (Studio Ephemera), Adrian Siu (Foster + Partners), Jemma Chidiac (Jemma Chidiac Architects).
Why participate: the Top 50 portfolios are shared with 500+ partner architecture firms for job and internship opportunities. USD 2,500 total prize pool. Certificates for all participants and finalists.
Timeline: Standard registration until 30 November 2026 (USD 40). Submission deadline 10 January 2027. Results 1 February 2027.
