Global Youth Design Challenge (GYDC)

The initiative is jointly presented by the Eastern Heritage Art Fund, established by the Beijing Contemporary Art Foundation (BCAF) and Pechoin, together with the Rams Foundation in Germany. The challenge aims to support the next generation of young designers worldwide, encourage dialogue and integration between Eastern and Western aesthetics, and explore how design can move beyond conceptual expression into meaningful social transformation.Inspired by the design philosophy of legendary German industrial designer Dieter Rams, this year’s annual theme is:LESS, BUT BETTER.
