About the competition
The International Excellence Awards 2027 (IEA), organised by Architecture & Design Community, recognise outstanding work in architecture, interior design, landscape, fashion, furniture, lighting, packaging, product, transportation, communication design and AI-powered innovation: 11 categories and 240 nominations.
Eligibility
The awards invite architects, interior and landscape designers, product and fashion designers, students and studios from all over the world. Built, produced and conceptual projects from the last seven years are eligible, including projects created fully or partially with AI. Students enjoy a 50% discount and compete in student categories: any project registered under a student entry competes exclusively in the dedicated Student Category.
Deliverables
Participants register on designskill.org and submit their projects online through their personal account.
Judging
Every entry is judged blind by an international jury. Each juror scores the project from 1 to 10 on three criteria: Innovation & Originality, Design & Aesthetic Quality, and Functionality & Spatial Integration. The average score determines the award level: Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze.
