LSE Generate Global Innovation Challenge

About the competition

The LSE Generate Global Innovation Challenge (LGIC) is a global, fully virtual innovation and problem-solving competition for high school students (ages 13–18).
Hosted in partnership with LSE Generate - the entrepreneurship hub of the London School of Economics - and Crimson Education, LGIC invites students to develop scalable solutions to real-world problems using the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In 2026, students from all over the global will join this international stage to pitch meaningful ideas, gain entrepreneurial skills, and compete for world-class prizes including virtual internships with LSE Social Enterprise Founders, cash prizes, expert mentorship, and global recognition.

Why you should join:
Internships, mentorship sessions, exclusive access to LSE Generate events, global publication, certificates, and up to $2,500 in cash prizes
Develop critical thinking, structured writing, persuasive communication, and analytical reasoning - the exact skills top universities look for
Access expert-led webinars, curated resources, and frameworks that teach students to think like innovators and build solutions that matter.
Fully virtual. No location barriers. No prior experience needed, only creativity, curiosity, and a will to solve problems.
No experience required — just curiosity and a desire to make a real impact!
