About the competition
Pick one of four quests: AI Art, AI Robotics & Smart Devices, AI for Good, or AI Agents. Form a team of 1–4 (solo is welcome) and build at home or at school with any AI tool. Free tools can score full marks.
Key dates (Singapore time, UTC+8)
- Register now, no cap, until Sat 2 Jan 2027, 23:59.
- The Singapore school holidays (21 Nov – 31 Dec) are the main build time for many teams.
- Submissions close Sat 9 Jan 2027, 23:59.
- Every team hears by email on Wed 13 Jan, finalist or not.
- Demo Weekend, Sat 16 – Sun 17 Jan 2027, in person in Singapore: Finals Day on Saturday, Showcase & Awards Day on Sunday. Every participant is welcome.
Three divisions (Primary 7–12, Secondary 13–17, University 18–24), awards in every division, and a certificate for every student. Trophies and cash prizes in every division, plus eight Special Awards: S$35,550 in total.
Entry is S$68 per student. It covers the challenge and resource pack, screening and judging, and certificates, plus Demo Weekend entry and student lunch for those who come. About 15 fee-waiver places are free for students who need financial support.
Registering, paying, building and submitting all happen online. From outside Singapore, pay by card: most international debit and credit cards work. Demo Weekend is in person in Singapore; if you come, travel, visas and accommodation are your own arrangement and cost.
Under 21? A parent or guardian confirms your place. Every team with a member aged 12 or under has a lead adult, a parent or teacher, who comes to Demo Weekend with the team.
