Youth Sustainable Investment Challenge 2026

About the competition

The Youth Sustainability Investment Challenge (YSIC) is a global youth investment challenge organized by the Youth Entrepreneurship and finance association. Focused on real-world investment decision-making, ESG awareness, financial literacy, and strategic execution, students join in teams, building a virtual portfolio, independently executing investment strategies, and demonstrating risk control. This is run on the same platform as giants like Wharton and DECA, but with an added social impact. Students go out into the real world, creating and implementing action-plans to solve an issue plaguing their community, from water quality to food insecurity. At the end of it all, teams present their investment strategy, portfolio performance, and a community-impact segment in front of a panel of Wall Street Judges, with the opportunity to win real cash prices. Prizes include: $500 for 1st, $300 for 2nd, $200 for 3rd. The top 3 earn recommendation letters alongside a SCISS Elite Summer Program Benefit valued at $5,500.
