About the competition
EXCESS 2026 is an international event organized by HIMATEMIA FT University of Lampung, Indonesia, carrying the theme “Implementing Low Carbon Innovation in the Transition Energy Toward Net Zero Emission.” This event provides a platform for university students from around the world to present their ideas, research, and innovations related to sustainable energy and environmental development. Through this program, participants are encouraged to enhance their creativity, critical thinking, and global collaboration skills in addressing future energy challenges.
EXCESS 2026 features two main international competitions: the International Cation Competition and the International Paper and Poster Competition. The selection stage of the competitions will be conducted online to enable broader international participation, while the final round will be held offline at the University of Lampung, Indonesia. This event also provides opportunities for academic exchange, networking, and cross-cultural collaboration among students and young innovators from various countries.
