The BREEZE Engineering Challenge

About the competition

The BREEZE Engineering Challenge is an engineering competition run by ThermaLabs. Design and build the best cooling jacket for people who work in 45 degree heat.

Anyone 18 or over can apply, on their own or in a team of up to 8, from anywhere apart from countries under sanctions. There is no entry fee.

Up to 3 designs get parts money of up to 10,000 dollars each to build them, paid against receipts. If your build ends up in our product, you share a 3 percent royalty pool for that product for 10 years. Stand out, and you could be hired as a founding engineer.

Applications close 23 November 2026. The full rules are at https://thermalabs.io/challenge/rules/
