curaJOY’s 2025 Summer Impact Fellowship is a paid, seven-week program where high-school juniors/seniors and college students build AI tools and datasets that fight cyber-bullying and self-harm online. Fellows create the first youth-annotated “online-harm + emotion” dataset (15 k multi-platform posts) and open-source code that researchers and schools can use to make the internet safer for teens.Each participant earns $1,250, 120 verified service hours, and mentorship from university faculty and industry engineers.
