We are thrilled to announce the Digital Storytelling Challenge: Transforming the Narrative of Wars and Conflicts over Social Media, a creative social media competition open to all college and university students around the world. This competition invites international students to delve into the intricate narratives of the Hamas/Israel conflict, and to reframe them into engaging, succinct, and informative videos for social media that maintain an unbiased approach to the situation.
Competition Focus: Short, compelling videos that offer a reinterpretation of the complex issues surrounding the Hamas/Israel conflict. The content should aim to inform, educate, and engage viewers in a style reminiscent of popular TikTok channels, such as Morning Brew or Washington Post. The content should present intricate story lines in a simplified, accessible manner, suitable for a younger, social media-savvy audience.
